Avandia® is a drug use to treat Type II (Adult-Onset) Diabetes.  In February 2006, Glaxo Smith Kline and FDA updated the Avandia® warning label to show that studies have found a higher risk of heart-attacks and cardiovascular events for Avandia® users.  A New England Journal of Medicine estimated that Avandia® users had 43% higher rate of heart attacks, than non- Avandia® users.  Before making any assessment on whether to continue or discontinue use of Avandia® please consult a doctor.  If you or a loved has been harmed by Avandia®, please contact us.
